You must be living in the UK for any of the following reasons:
Have permissionto stay as a refugee or stateless person
you have been granted humanitarian protection for a limited time after rejection of asylum application
you have been granted discretionary leave for a limited time after rejection of asylum application
If you do not have British Passport and hold ‘indefinite leave to remain’
You will need to provide evidence that even after formally applying for a passport,authorities in your country has unreasonably refused the same.
You will need to submit all the evidence as originals while making the application.
There are 4 different types of travel document one can apply for, depending on the status.
